What is it? Transitional Child Care (TCC) is a government program that helps people who have left temporary assistance (TA) and are now working pay for childcare. What do I get? You can receive help paying your childcare costs. The amount of support and your expected contribution will depend on your income and household size. Parents contribute toward the cost of care based on a sliding income scale. You can choose the child care provider you want but the provider must be licensed, registered or approved by the Child Care Resource Network. How long do I get it? You are guaranteed transitional childcare for 12 months as long as you meet the eligibility requirements. |
